Description

This Piquiarana Clock with Dual Tide Clocks is made from Brazilian Piquiarana wood, a unique hardwood with distinctive “eyes” in the sapwood and a very distinctive bark. On each side of the central clock is a tide clock – one with the ocean tide – the other with the tide up-river. This is something fisherman frequently need to know when fishing multiple spots. The lower half of the clock features a half-green backing representing the river waters and a half-blue backing for the ocean, Floating within it are chips of fluorite, a mineral with stripes of green, blue, white and clear. A thick later of clear epoxy fills the bottom and the “eyes” – with a UV protectant table-top epoxy coating overall. The clock faces are engraved and inlaid with pearlescent epoxy. THIS ITEM HAS SOLD!
