Description
This piece features an opposing book-matched piece of Sassafras wood with a bundle of wheat suspended in clear epoxy over a wavy black “velvet” backing epoxy. It is roughly 12″ x 14″ and is 1.25″ thick. The Sassafras is cut as a diagonal cookie and has a dramatic and well defined grain, but its most striking feature is the deep-red and “chunky” bark. I have enough of this wood to make perhaps one or two more pieces like this. THIS ITEM HAS SOLD
